The Telluric Energy of Stones
In nature, we can find an infinity of stones with a variety of sizes, shapes, colors, mineral components, etc.
But without a doubt, there are some “stones” more special than others, which are magical or so believed thousands of years ago by humans who transported them hundreds of kilometers using means that today we undoubtedly do not know and ceremoniously grouped them together to later lift and place them vertically despite their colossal size and weight of up to several tons each.
They almost always formed incredible circles with them that, we suppose, had a mystical purpose of connection with the stars and their constellations, with the Sun as the Astro King and its complementary Moon. They created supposed temples with which they could predict, more than 10,000 years ago, eclipses, solstices, and surely many more things that we now ignore.
These stones were on this planet long before us humans, and they will be here long after.
The images in this exhibition have been taken by me in the last 30 years, both in analog and digital formats, in some of the most magical places with telluric energy in the Celtic world where, not by chance, these stone temples were erected.
Stonehenge, Avebury, Carnac, Callanish, etc. managed to captivate me and make me feel that both the place and those stones really are magical.
